As many are aware, the City of Orlando is facing a budget shortfall and has said that all the departments will need to be cut. The Fire Department itself is looking at losing 72 positions. Due to the A shift steward changing shifts there is a vacancy in this position. Pursuant to the By-laws since there is more than a year left in the term there will be nominations at the May meeting.
